Sunday Nov 14, 2021
Welcome to the Locust And Honey Podcast. We are two reformed Southern Baptists seeking to speak the truth of the gospel to the heart of the culture.
Join us today as we look at The Word Vs The World. Culture is not neutral. Everyone around us is preaching a worldview. Listen in as we look at how to combat that as a believer.
Who We Are…
Welcome to the Locust And Honey Podcast. As mentioned above, we are two Reformed Southern Baptists desiring to speak the truth of the gospel to the heart of the culture.
One question we have received is what is a reformed Southern Baptist?
While we would be able to affirm the BFM 2000 we hold to the more robust 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith. We have a high view of God and His Word. We also affirm Confessional Baptist Covenant Theology (1689 Federalism).
What all of this means is that we believe that God’s Word and the Gospel are the power of God unto salvation. We want to take that power and put it face to face with the current culture.
Just as John the Baptist cried out in the wilderness, we are lifting high the name of Christ so that he may draw His people unto Himself.
